I do not have a good answer here. Some site try to predict bokeh from mtf. To be honest these days I'm begining to lean towards APO (never had issues with CA on film; but it is rather annoying with digital unless you correct it in post processing). Mostly what some of the other sites do is not general reviews but contirbutors (forums) will have detail comparisons of two lenses in different situations (background/foreground/near/far/...); these are not really reviews per sey but rather side by side comparison of two interesting lenses.

One thing (not really related to this thread) that has bothered me is why only olympus has decent jpeg out of camera. Really cuts down on time spent post processing.
