f2.8 is not amazingly fast, so I don't think there has to be a gotcha? And Samyang has some optical talent at work, the last few years (that started to show with the 135mm f2).
Confounding? The results look... as expected...
That is on an A7 II though.

Too good to be true. Well, there's only one way to find out.
The complex optical design and the small-ish max aperture (and some other Samyang designs from the last few years) make that I expect this little lens to perform well.
